Practice Now: Gratitude Exercise

Before you begin this exercise, please rate how happy you feel right now on a scale from 1-10.

Now bring to mind someone for whom you feel very grateful. Take a pen and paper and write a letter telling them: 1) how you feel, 2) why you feel that way, and 3) how much they mean to you.
