Intuitive watercolor painting will help you shift into a mindful, meditative state, where your creative side can show up, get lost in the colors, and begin to flow.
Along with basic instruction about how to work with watercolors, such as how to use supplies, wet in wet vs. wet in damp/dry, flat and gradient washes, applying the color wheel, color mixing, negative painting, texturing and more, you will be coached through right-brain awakening and critic-taming creative prompts, so you can enjoy learn to make abstract and nature-based watercolor paintings, spontaneously, and from intuition.
These creativity-boosting sessions are a joyful escape, whisking you away from the worries, stress, and struggles of life.
You will use watercolor paints, watercolor pencils, sharpies, crayons, and whatever else it takes to quench your creative thirst. Each session is designed to help you tune in and take time out for you.
Please note: This is not a "paint by numbers" or follow-along course. You will learn how to apply the materials, so that you can begin your intuitive exploration and learn to trust your imagination.
No skills or experience are needed to fully immerse yourself and find delight in this approach.
How it works:
Intuitive Watercolors courses offer 6 hours of online, live classes with Montine via Zoom, a simple video-conferencing tool.
Each of the classes provide creativity coaching, meditation, painting time, and processing time as a group.
Soon after registering, you will receive information about:
What supplies and set up you will need
Where you can get supplies
How to prepare your space
What technology you need to (ie computer or tablet with audio/video capability)
A link to join the video-conference
We will close each session with a debrief and group sharing of your imagery and process.
